Service Description

In light of the recent KHDA age cut-off adjustments, we’re hosting a discussion on why FS1 and FS2 thrive within a high-quality Montessori environment. At Little Land Nursery & Montessori, we see the FS years not as a transition period to be rushed through, but as a critical developmental stage where emotional security, social competence, language, and self-regulation are intentionally nurtured. Led by experienced early years educators, this session will explore: Why remaining in nursery during FS1 & FS2 supports long-term readiness How Montessori practice aligns with EYFS outcomes in the early years The role of play, movement, and outdoor learning in cognitive and emotional development How calm, relationship-led environments build confident, capable learners While parents engage in discussion, children will experience Valentine’s-themed creative work, Montessori outdoor activities, and purposeful social play, reflecting the principles being discussed. This is an opportunity for families to gain clarity, context, and confidence in their early years decisions.
